The first township meeting was held at the house of Abraham J. • 1832 - RICHLAND township was set off from the eastern half of Arcadia, comprising the current townships of Ross, Richland, Comstock and Charleston. click on image to enlarge it • 7 March 1834 - COMSTOCK township was organized, consisting of the present townships of Comstock, Charleston and Climax. click on image to enlarge it
